Lesson tip 1:
Show the students the website sporcle.com. Pick a fun quiz and do it together, see if you can collectively get a good score. Then give them instructions to do a quiz themselves. It can be the same quiz for everyone for some healthy competition, or a quiz they pick themselves based on their topic for this Mission.
Lesson tip 2:
You can also tell the students to do a quiz that they know nothing about, have them doit a couple of times and see if they can improve their score.
Lesson tip 3:
For those students who like a challenge: the logical quizzes often have complicated instructions. Have them put “logical” in the search box and pick one of the quizzes. Don’t help them figure out exactly how to play, but instead encourage them to read the instructions very carefully and try stuff out until they work out how to solve the puzzles.
